Senior Project Manager – 1st Shift

MMD Medical is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our team! This person will be responsible for managing key initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing processes; develops and implements project plans; builds team ownership and commitment to project plan. Project Manager will be responsible for leadership of product development projects and related work stream activities for medical products. The scope of projects includes all product support activities from Quote to the end of product life for multiple concurrent products.

Description/Job Summary:

  • Delegate and manage tasks among team members as appropriate to their skill level and risk to the project.
  • Effectively lead team ensuring good cross-functional communications and provide input to functional managers on team and team member performance.
  • Communicate with personnel in various locations and all management levels.
  • Liaison between the team and the project sponsors; leads phase and business reviews, project meeting minutes, issues log, metrics, and other key communications.
  • Serve ‘A’ customers thru OTD and quality of project deliverables.
  • Generate high-level plans, communications, and schedules on larger projects requiring prioritization and workload adjustments.
  • The ability to assess business risks and prioritize tasks among many activities will be a key skill to have for this position.
  • Identify, communicate, and manage moderate levels of technical risk.
  • Project Execution.
  • Delegate and manage tasks among team members as appropriate to their skill level and risk to the project.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Required, preferable in Engineering, Science, or Manufacturing or PMP certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Medical Component’s and Device manufacturing environment.
  • Highly organized and detailed, low patience and driven to execute projects.


  • Routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets

The compensation package will consist of an attractive and competitive market based salary, which will be determined, in part, by the successful candidate’s level of manufacturing experience.
